Lemon Alfredo Pea Pasta

Ingredients

Bow tie pasta

1 stalk of leek

1 stalk of fennel

3/4 to 1 cup of peas

1 jar of Trader Joe’s Limone Alfredo Sauce


Instructions

  1. Chop leek and fennel in small pieces
  2. In a large skillet, add olive oil, warm
  3. Add leeks and fennel to warmed olive oil, simmer
  4. In a separate med sized pot add water and bring to a boil
  5. Generously add salt to the boiling water (this is the only time you’ll get to flavor the pasta)
  6. Add 1/2 a package of Bow tie pasta (cook according to package directions)
  7. Scoop approximately 1/2-to 3/4 cup of salty water from the pot, set aside
  8. Drain the rest of the pasta
  9. Add pasta to the skillet with fennel and leeks
  10. Add Jar of Limone Alfredo
  11. Add peas
  12. Add salty pasta water
  13. Stir together
  14. Serve
