Description
Fresh watermelon and mint, as an appetizer or dessert.
Ingredients
Scale
1/2 a seedless large watermelon or one small seedless watermelon cut from the rind.
8–10 leaves of fresh mint cut into strips,
Balsamic glaze
Sea salt flakes
Instructions
- Cut watermelon into bite size pieces, cubed.
- Add melon to a decorative plate.
- Drizzle lightly with a balsamic glaze.
- Sprinkle cut mint leaves over melon.
- Top it off with a few sprinkles of salt flakes.
Notes
Serve as a side dish, an appetizer or a salad.
Serve immediately or add topping just before you serve, as the melon begins to juice from the salt and glaze.
