Watermelon and Fresh Mint

Description

Fresh watermelon and mint, as an appetizer or dessert. 


Ingredients

Scale

1/2 a seedless large watermelon or one small seedless watermelon cut from the rind.

810 leaves of fresh mint cut into strips,

Balsamic glaze

Sea salt flakes


Instructions

  1. Cut watermelon into bite size pieces, cubed.
  2. Add melon to a decorative plate.
  3. Drizzle lightly with a balsamic glaze.
  4. Sprinkle cut mint leaves over melon.
  5. Top it off with a few sprinkles of salt flakes. 

 


Notes

Serve as a side dish, an appetizer or a salad. 

Serve immediately or add topping just before you serve, as the melon begins to juice from the salt and glaze.
